Situated in the Blaauklippen Valley on the outskirts of of Stellenbosch, nestled in the Stellenbosch & Helderberg Mountain ranges amidst fynbos and vineyards. Mont Fleur is blessed with amazing natural beauty and offers you a welcome escape from the hustle, bustle and stress of city life. Despite being a secluded mountain retreat, Mont Fleur is only 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and 45 minutes from Cape Town.

The Mont Fleur team is renowned for their amazing hospitality and service.  From home cooked goodies in the kitchen and various dietary options, to turning down your beds at night, there is little they are not willing to do to make your stay unforgettable. The package includes 3 nights en-suite accommodation, all meals and teas, guided meditations, creative guiding, all art materials, coaching, gentle somatic practices, a guided sound journey and 2 guided Nia movement sessions plus 1 FREE Coaching session with Karen after the retreat.

Arrive Thursday at 17h00. We will have dinner together at 18h00 and begin with an easeful introduction and guided meditation. Friday will include guided meditations, creative guiding, movement, reflection and rest. Saturday will include guided meditations, creative guiding, a healing sound journey, reflection and rest. On Sunday we will meditate, complete our creative process, share, move and reflect. We depart Sunday after lunch.

Karen uses a creative and ontological coaching approach. The expression of “stepping into your power” is aligned with the ontological spirit of power. This is a powerful way to embody a self-authoring way of living. Karen will help you play an active role in re-writing the script you live from and choose to keep those parts that serve you and open to new possibilities that will help you live the life you truly want. Karen shares mindful body practices and self-compassion practices that will help you become more aware of your old habitual patterns, guide you to center, let go of fear and anxiety and begin to cultivate more acceptance and compassion.

Creative Guiding centres on the creative process and journey of making art rather than the finished product. Karen gently nudges and guides art-making in a supportive environment. She draws on inspiration from nature and its elements, stories, poetry and other stimuli. The Emphasis is on creating, developing, learning and reflecting. It’s about an inward exploration, being in the present moment, letting go of expectations and being curious and playful about whatever emerges.

No art experience is required.

Karen has been guiding retreats since 2014. She partners with clients to re-connect with their innate wisdom and cultivate a more resilient and resourceful way of being so that they may navigate consistent change and respond to challenges with more ease. She comes together with her clients as conversation partners, creativity partners, co-observers and co-learners. Karen embodies care, love and deep respect for personal dignity and brings a presence to her coaching that is both compassionate and encouraging. This in conjunction with her sensitivity to all in a group creates an environment for all to explore and discover.
Karen facilitates processes that expand through three key approaches: Ontological CoachingLeadership Embodiment Creative Guiding.

Creativity is defined as the tendency to generate or recognise ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and reconnecting to ourselves and others.

Mia Steyn is a Nia Black Belt 2nd Degree Teacher & Nia Art of Sensation Trainer.

With over 15 years of experience as a dedicated Nia teacher, and one of only two Nia trainers in South Africa, Mia is part of the International Nia Training Faculty. Her journey began amidst a quest for healing and self-discovery, after being in a bomb explosion with her family and suffering from PTSD. Whilst searching for a way to calm her nervous system and find balance again in her body, mind, emotions, and spirit, she learnt and practiced various movement modalities like yoga, TRE, holotropic breathwork, yet, it was Nia that resonated most profoundly with her soul, rewriting the very chemistry of her being to foster peace, harmony, and vitality.

Nia transcends mere dance; it is a sacred, enjoyable, and introspective movement journey that connects us to our sensations, allowing us to move from the inside out.

Vibrational sound healing has been a part of Almarie Venter’s offering for 7 years now and she has been blessed to learn from masters both locally and internationally. Almarie weaves sound healing into all her treatments such as wellness coaching, mindfulness, meditation, yoga and movement, conscious breathing, personal development, and neuro-integration.

With over 17 years of experience in health, wellness and personal development, Almarie thrives on introducing alternative and practical ways to reduce stress and increase a sense of wellbeing for clients of all ages. It is through her personal healing journey that her passion and purpose was birthed to support people from all walks of life to bring about change and healing, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

Completing and submitting this registration form is a sign of a firm commitment to this retreat including payment. Payment is Due in Full on submission of this form.  The Retreat will run with a minimum of 12 participants. If, due to unforeseen circumstances the retreat is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. If the retreat is rescheduled, you will have the choice of a refund or to attend on the new dates.

Please note that the refunded amount/percentage is calculated based on the full retreat fee of R9550.

More than 12 weeks prior to retreat: There will be a refund less 35%.

6 – 12 weeks prior to retreat: There will be a refund less 50%.

6 weeks or less prior to the retreat: No refund is possible.

By submitting this form, you hereby indemnify Karen Nebe  against any and all damage, illness and/or loss of whatsoever kind, caused by Karen Nebe’s involvement (whether direct or indirect) in terms hereof and render Karen Nebe harmless against any claims (regardless of whether they arise).
