Temenos Retreat in McGregor
“Wear gratitude like a cloak and it will feed every corner of your life.”~ Rumi
Gratitude is to believe that everything is a gift and we did not receive it in exchange for anything. Gratitude does not mean that we turn away from or minimise the immense loss and suffering that is happening right now. Gratitude is an active daily practice that we cultivate alongside the very real and challenging emotions we are experiencing. Gratitude can be healing and it is the foundation to living a more joy-filled life. This is an invitation to honour all your experiences this year with a practice of gratitude.

Yoga with Charmaine:
Charmaine Horsburgh is a Yoga practioner who met her teacher, Swami Venkatesananda of Rishikesh, India in the the early 1970’s and began a lifelong journey of yoga study, practice and investigation. The culture of learning which Swamji encouraged has led her to constantly be looking for ways to deepen and inform her own practice and teaching skills. Charmaine now incorporates the cutting edge postural alignment techniques of the Bowspring into the yoga classes that she offers. It has been her great good fortune to learn from, and keep on learning from, the co-founders of the beneficial system, Desi Springer and John Friend. Yoga in the mornings is optional at R100 per class.
